Description

Full Sail University is now accepting applications for Course Director for the Media Design Master of Fine Arts Degree (MDMFA) program.

The Course Director is responsible for teaching one or more courses each month in our 12-month degree program. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining instructional materials, instructing and coaching students in a unique online environment, and working with other Course Directors in a team atmosphere to develop the overall program, assuring that connectivity and consistency is maintained between courses to promote a seamless learning experience for our students.

Requirements: This position requires a professional with the confidence and interpersonal skills necessary to motivate students to achieve success. This individual should have industry experience in print design and interactive media, and should be knowledgeable in current trends in new media and the marketplace. Along with understanding the content material of the degree, the individual must be a dynamic and effective coach and mentor for students in an online teaching environment. The successful candidate will have a collaborative style to work effectively with the other faculty, school administrators, and students.

Education/Training: The minimum degree requirement is an MFA or PhD.

Specific Skills

Skills Needed: Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years work experience related to the graphic design/media design profession, be passionate about creative education, and be current on educational and media technology. Knowledge in curriculum development and a proven track record of reputable field experience is preferred.
