SANTIAGO, Chile ? A Chilean newspaper says a small bomb has exploded outside its building in the capital, breaking several large windows but causing no injuries.
The newspaper La Tercera says on its website that witnesses report that the explosives set off early Tuesday appeared to have been hidden in a plastic piggy bank. The paper says no one has claimed responsibility for the attack.
The newspaper sits on one of Santiago's main boulevards and police have closed the street while investigating the blast.
